A deep interest in finding how we humans work runs through my whole life. When I was young, my wish was to understand the cause of suffering and diseases so I may heal people. I particularly thought that “understanding cancer” would bring a cure. The most legitimate way to pursue this romantic idea was to study medicine. After six years of mentally demanding training at the medical school, I grew increasingly disillusioned with my ability to affect change during my neurology residency at the university hospital. I did everything I was taught, but the patients were not getting better. In my youthful attitude, considered by all around to be carelessness, I left the academic environment and moved to the US. There another chapter of my professional path opened.
I got familiar with all sides of the medical industry as a medical director of the national non-profit focusing on Lyme disease. While the next two positions were oddly full of business and politics /medico-communication, as well as pharmaceutical companies/, together with a growing personal crisis, life has offered me a rare chance: to rethink completely my passions and intentions and put them forward in a radically new way.
This brought me to ayurvedic medicine, where I found everything I needed as a human, clinician, therapist, philosopher, artist, and most importantly a lover of life. After more than 20 years of inhabiting the system professionally and personally, the journey continues. It has been a journey of constant discovery. Working with the physical aspect of people has naturally led me to an emotional arena. From emotions, I was brought to the mental field. From there it was only a stone throw into the area of the invisible realm of life. I used to consider myself to be an advocate of people´s bodies trying to understand why they manifest the problems they have. Now I am advocating their soul.
THIS PATH IS FOR EVERY TRUE SEEKER
I see myself as a guide on the journey within. The Self has its specific existence and expression. My passion is to help people become familiar with their inner wisdom. This wisdom is the bridge to the Universal wisdom, from which we came and to which we return. My job is to help each person I work with to go beyond the constraints of their current understanding.
The best part is that each of us while part of the same Universal Consciousness, is a unique original expression. We have our own way of going from ignorance to truth. Sva Marga means just that: a unique own path towards one´s unique spirit.
To connect with the Self, to live from it is the most valuable act we may attempt in this lifetime. It gives us the ability to create our life, to shape it the most desirable way while eliciting full collaboration of the most powerful creative agency, Creation itself. This is the most exciting aspect of my work, for which I am truly grateful.
The journey continues. Only the inner wisdom knows where it will lead. I believe it has no end and as long as I am moving towards a deeper understanding, experiencing more freedom and joy, I relish the process of constant discovery.
Keeping up with the duality of life, just as we understand life and Self more and more, the ignorance and confusion are growing exponentially, too. I am here to search for ways to use any situation in life for the extraction of true meaning. The creative aspect is especially appealing to me as it holds keys to our meaning. Here the Universal and personal meet. My job is to help each person I work with to go beyond the constraints of their current understanding.
I love life in its endless expressions. I am in a continuous wonder at its intelligent orchestration of every single detail in both the animate and inanimate worlds. I am in constant awe and gratitude for the opportunity our physical existence gives us. I am humbled by the outpouring of love that flows endlessly from the Creation. My desire is to help you to move closer to the source, to help you see issues differently, to view problems as opportunities, hardship, and darkness as the best conditions to search and discover light.
In my work, I draw on the wisdom of vedic philosophy and spirituality, extensive experience of ayurvedic and practical science and art, as well as yogic search and vast understanding of how consciousness pervades and functions in all aspects of life.
